San Benedetto began with one family, one stove, and a stubborn belief that Italian food should taste like home. Every dish that leaves our kitchen starts with the same recipes we cook on Sundays, the same dough we knead by hand, the same patience a good tomato sauce deserves.
We are a small, family-run restaurant in the heart of Sarno. No shortcuts, no fuss. Just pasta, pizza, risotto and lasagna made the way Nonna would recognize, served at a table where everyone is welcome.

Our Story
A family kitchen, three generations deep
San Benedetto is named for the patron of our hometown table, and that is exactly what we set out to be: a place where strangers become regulars and regulars become family. The recipes we cook were written in our mother's notebook, then in ours, and now on the menu you hold.
We knead dough in the morning, simmer sauce through the afternoon, and open the doors at nine. It is not a fast kitchen. It is a good one.

An evening at San Benedetto moves at its own pace. The dining room fills with the clink of glasses, the smell of garlic and basil, and the low hum of conversation that runs long past dessert. Pull up a chair, settle in, and let the kitchen take care of the rest.
We take reservations for lunch and dinner, and we keep a few tables for walk-ins. Come as you are, bring who you love, and stay a while.
